M. E. Harlow

M. E. Harlow

M. E. Harlow is an Anglican priest, an author of speculative fiction, and a veteran of the United States Air Force. Matt's debut novel, Night Company (Jumpmaster Press, 2027), is a Neo-western supernatural thriller and a reimagining of That Hideous Strength set in West Texas. Like its inspiration, Night Company is a Grail romance at heart. It was named a finalist for the Killer Nashville Claymore Award in the Supernatural category and is currently longlisted for the Chanticleer Mary Shelley Award. A second novel, which received an Honorable Mention for the Ark Press Ark Prize, is in revision.

A longtime reader of the Inklings, Matt writes stories where the seen and unseen worlds press close together. He holds a master's degree in religion from Reformed Theological Seminary and was ordained to the priesthood in 2012. He serves as Rector of Christ the Redeemer and as Canon to the Bishop Ordinary and is a member of the Society of the Holy Cross (SSC).

Matt lives in Georgia with his wife, Sarah, an art teacher. They have three children.
