## In this episode

Tashlan is unmasked. The stable door opens onto the real Narnia, and Lewis ends the Chronicles with judgment, joy, and the hard knot often called “the problem of Susan.” This class lecture from The Fiction and Philosophy of C.S. Lewis reads The Last Battle for false Aslan, true country, and the call further up and further in.

Dr. Andrew Snyder (professor of philosophy and theology) tracks the finale’s philosophy: counterfeit religion, the end of a world that was never the whole story, and how the “inside” of the stable is larger than the “outside” of despair.
