## In this episode

Revenge of the Sith is the prequel where the good do not win. Anakin’s loves (Padme, power enough to keep her, the Order that will not hold him) fall out of right order; Palpatine pulls the lever; Order 66 falls; Mustafar finishes what attachment began. Disordered loves leave fallout across a galaxy.

In this Mythic Mind Movies conversation, Dr. Andrew Snyder (professor of philosophy and theology) and guests wrap the prequel trilogy. They talk why this film works as tragedy even when younglings and betrayal wound the watcher, how democracy dies to applause, the Obi-Wan/Anakin duel as broken brotherhood, and the hunger for the later reconciliation with Luke that this ending makes necessary.

Topics include fear crowned as power, the Republic’s last night, Vader’s birth, and how RotS completes the fall Attack of the Clones set in motion.
