## In this episode

After Dagoth Ur and the Heart of Lorkhan, Morrowind’s capital still burns with crisis. Almalexia has lost her source of divinity: without the Heart she is nothing unless they believe she is everything. Assassins, fabricants, True Flame, and the Clockwork City lead the Nerevarine to end the living gods of Mournhold.

In this Elder Scrolls & Philosophy story overview, Dr. Andrew Snyder traces Tribunal’s Mournhold arc: Helseth’s city, Sotha Sil’s death, Almalexia’s false-god desperation, and why the New Temple later names the Tribunal saints rather than deities. A short gateway into the expansions unit beside Bloodmoon.
