## In this episode

In this episode Fallout 4 is read as a rich sandbox (explore, build, customize weapons and settlements) that underfeeds RPG meaning: synth personhood, faction ethics, and dialogue choice are poked more than argued, so freedom to play outruns the depth of role.

In this Mythic Mind Games conversation, Dr. Andrew Snyder (with Jacob and Ian) frames FO4 against New Vegas and classic Fallout: settlement and combat loops that work, a voiced Sole Survivor and dialogue wheel that railroad character, Institute / Railroad / Minutemen / Brotherhood stakes that rarely match That Hideous Strength or Blade Runner questions the premise invites.
