## In this episode

Aaron Bair’s A Joyful Outpost reads the Beavers' lodge in The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe as a vision of household economy: warmth against winter, table fellowship, and a home that still knows its calling.

In this Mythic Mind conversation, Dr. Andrew Snyder (professor of philosophy and theology) talks with Aaron (Utah teacher) about hospitality, the long defeat outside the hall, why the household matters when culture grows cold, and how Lewis’s Beavers model a local, joyful outpost of Christian household life.

Topics include family and place, defending the mead-hall of ordinary goodness, and recovering home as more than a pit stop between jobs and screens.
